Questions
My columns are merged together — what do I change?
Lower the "Column sensitivity" slider. It sets how large a horizontal gap has to be before a new column starts, so a smaller value splits more eagerly.
Everything landed in column A. Why?
The PDF is probably a scan with no text layer, so there were no character positions to work from. Scans need OCR before any of this can work.
Should I use one sheet per page?
Yes if each page holds a separate table. If one long table runs across many pages, choose "All pages in one sheet" so the rows stay together.
My reference codes lost their leading zeros.
Turn off "Convert numbers and dates to real values". Everything then arrives as text, which preserves codes like 00734 exactly.
